Fixed windows, one student rate, city tax visible before you book

Every break listed on this page leaves on a set date and returns on a set date. Nothing is quoted as a range, and nothing is added later except the city tax your hostel collects at check-in.

01Fixed windows: Each break runs a Thursday-to-Sunday or Friday-to-Monday window. We publish the exact travel dates, the departure time from Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi and the return arrival, so you can plan around lectures.
02Student rate: One price per person, with the student discount already applied to the bed: 15% below the hostel's standard nightly rate. No promo code, no minimum group size, no membership card.
03City tax: Collected by the hostel on arrival, in local currency, per person per night. It sits on its own line in every ledger, so the total you read is the total you pay.

Five scheduled city breaks for spring 2025. Each ledger splits transport, bed, city tax and booking fee before the total. Walking times are measured from the arrival platform to the hostel door.

Reading the ledger

What the four figures do not cover

Every row on the departure board breaks the price into transport, bed, mandatory city tax and booking fee. Nothing else is bundled in, so you can see what the trip actually costs before you book.

Transport: Second-class seat or couchette on the stated service, with the transfer between stations included.
Bed: Dorm place in the named hostel for the stated nights. Linen is included, towels are not.
City tax: Charged per person per night by the municipality and paid in cash at reception on arrival.
Booking fee: A flat amount per person that covers the reservation work and the written disruption procedure.

Never in the total

Meals, drinks and hostel breakfast add-ons
Museum, gallery and day-pass entry fees
Travel insurance and passport or visa costs
Local metro, tram and airport transfer tickets

If a connection fails

Carrier cancellations, missed connections and border delays follow the procedure printed with your booking. A rebooking fee is capped at EUR 30 per person, and we never add a second fee on the same leg.
